The Potato Head Kids cartoon was about all of the Kids that hung around Mr and Mrs Potato Head. I don't think they were their children, but they very well might have been. The youngest Potato Head Kid was Dumpling and the oldest was probably Puff since she worked at the shoe and hat store with Mr and Mrs Potato Head. One Potato Head Kid liked to pretend he was "Sam Spud- Private Eye".

One of the odd things about Potato Head Kids was that all the other characters in the show (the non-main characters) were human. Didn't they ever wonder why a large potato was living and talking to them? Mr and Mrs Potato Head ran a shoe and hat store  (appropriately enough) at the mall and it was owned by a human man (a mean one at that). If he wouldn't rent the space out to them, they'd have every right to sue him for being prejudice against potatoes. Or maybe I just think about things too much. There were a couple of main Potato Head Kids. Their names are Puff, Smarty Pants, Spike, Dumpling, Spud, and Big Chip. They had a club house together and it looked sort of like a school house, actually. They went on adventures and sometimes would get in trouble. Dumpling, being only a baby, would sometimes toddle off and the others would have to go searching for her. Sometimes they'd do things that could potentially get Mr and Mrs Potato Head it trouble. But, as always, everything always turned out safe and sound by the end of the show.
