Bonnie is sick at home with Billy and can't make it to see the circus. Pancake and Puzzle drop by to ask what's wrong. They gather the Popples and begin the Popples Three Ring Backyard Circus! There's a high-wire act, ferocious beast tricks, acrobatics, and even a magic act! It ends as the Popples perform a little dance, but the next morning the Popples can't even get out of bed because they've caught the sickness! Bonnie and Billy are feeling better and put together a juggling act to pay them back for their kindness.
Bonnie and Billy wake up late and their mom left without making them breakfast! The Popples, claiming to be expert chefs, offer to cook breakfast so they can get to their Saturday activities. The house fills with smoke, but that won't stop the Popples from having a great meal with their friends.
The Sports Popples proclaim it a perfect day for games! So the Poppolymics begin! Racing, volleyball, hurdles, and more! the competition goes on and on, ending in a Popple-sicle relay, pronouncing all Popples winners!
Bonnie and Billy so to see Lance Vance make a movie. The Popples get ready in the make-up room to start a movie of their own. The Popples want Billy to be the star of the screenplay, but this get a little carried away on the carriage scene. Bonnie is so excited about Billy's big scene.
Molars, Bicuspids, and Popples
Billy is so nervous about seeing the dentist, he can't even enjoy PC's juggling routine. That's when the rest of the Popples come to cheer him up. So the Popples follow Billy along to the dentist to make it easier. With all their explinations of tools and funny uses of them, Billy forgoets all about being scared.
Billy and Bonnie love going through the carwash, and those clean-loving Popples do, too! But with their dust-busting, Puffball gets stuck in a vacuum cleaner! After that fiasco, another comes along. The car is filled with suds and have to be sucked out by Putter. Puffball gets dirty again and again, but in the end she and the car wind up sparkling clean!
Bonnie fumbles her cheerleading squad audtion, and the Sports Popples offer to help increase her cheering! They play vigorous games of baseball, soccer, and basketball with Bonnie cheering all the way. Her coach arrives and is so impressed she assignes Bonnie as head cheerleader.
Even with the Popples help, Bonnie still can't find her lost math book. She heads to the library telling the Popples to stay behind, but they can't resist a day of misadventures at the library. After rummaging through the card catalog and shelves, they stumble upon a copy of Bonnie's math book so she can finally get back to studying for her test.
Billy and his friends need a forth for bowling, but won't let Bonnie join because she's a girl. Bonnie takes the advice of the female Popples and challenges the top bowler to a game. With the girls working behind the scenes (as well as being the ball) Bonnie can't fail. But when the Popples make the controls go hay wire, the game comes to a sudden end. The top boy bowler finally admits what a good bowler Bonnie is, but she denies a rematch so she can go play with the girls.
While setting out to buy their mother a birthday present, Bonnie and Billy run into the Popples who help convince Bonnie to spend some of the $7 on a round of Pee Wee Golf. While running out of cash, they desperately try to get a hole in one and win a prize of $25.
Bonnie decides to plan a garden with the help of Billy and their friends the Popples. Even with a little trouble from the neighbor dog, Bruno, they manage to pop their way to making a perfect garden.
A day at the beach brings out the best of fun in the Popples. They find a treasure map, and after some squabbling, they go on the hunt. While relaying jokes as wet as the ocean, they make their way to the treasure-- a Popple picnic! Missing the last bus, they have to build their own modes of transportation to get back home.
Billy strikes out at his baseball game, crushing his spirits. But the Popples are there to cheer him up with a game of Popples baseball. Through mud, dust, and bubble gum messes, the game continues on. Billy pope the last ball out of the park, winning the game and his self confidence.
