Makino Tsukushi is a bright and strong willed person, but often stubborn at times.  Despite her family's poverty, she managed to get accepted to a very classy high school.  She enjoys spending time with her friends, Kazuya, Yuki, and Makiko. After school she works at the Dango Shop.

Doumyoji Tsukasa is a handsome, rich, and just as stubborn as Makino. Though he seems like a jerk, he does have a soft spot.  In fact, he won't even sleep with women that don't really love him.  As the leader of the F4, he is extremely strong and enjoys playing pranks on people.  

Hanazawa Rui manages to be a member of the F4, despite how introverted he is.  He plays the violin and hides out in the emergency stairway.  His first love is Shizuka, a childhood friend, now important model in Paris.  He's a very melodramatic person.

Akira Mimasaki is the big playboy of the group.  He loves the company of older women, and always goes out nightclubbing and partying with Soujiro.  He's also very good at sports like basketball and volleyball.

Nishikado Soujiro enjoys the company of many women.  He's a big playboy and enjoys picking up girls at nightclubs and parties.  Soujiro and Akira are always trying to give Doumyoji tips on dating.

Aoike Kazuya has been friends with Tsukushi since grade school.  When his family fell into weatlth, he transferred over to Eitoku Garden with her.  He's very clumsy and depends on Makino as a protector.  The F4 often mocks him for being a "newly rich boy".

Matsuoka Yuki was Makino's friend in middle school.  They work together at the Dango Shop.  Makino often confides in Yuki with her troubles at school.  She's very innocent, and Makino often has to protect her from the mean students at Eitoku.

Endou Makiko became friends with Makino right before her troubles with the F4 started.  She fell down a flight of stairs, landing on Doumyoji which started the whole mess in the first place.  Since she goes to Eitoku Garden, I assume her father is very rich.

Todou Shizuka was Rui's first love.  She returns to him after spending a year in Paris as a model.  She's extremely beautiful inside and out.  Shizuka wants Makino to take care of Rui, because she thinks Makino is a wonderful person.

Doumyoji Tsubaki is Tsukasa's older sister.  She's very intimidating and is not afraid to beat her brother to a pulp when he is acting inappropriately.  She thinks highly of Makino, and sincerely wishes she will marry Tsukasa.  Also, she is a model and lives with her husband in America most of the time.

Sanjou Sakurako is never what she seems.  To everyone in school, she seems like an innocent little doll. But when the night comes, she's a cold hearted boyfriend-stealing slut at the dance clubs. She often causes trouble for Makino and wants Doumyoji to marry her.

Thomas is Sakurako's childhood friend from Germany.  He has blonde hair and blue eyes.  Sakurako pays him to blackmail Tsukushi in order to get Doumyoji.  Later, Thomas reveals Sakurako's dark secret.

Junpei appears to be just a dorky freshman at first.  Little does Tsukushi know he's really a famous model who is using her to get back at Doumyoji!

Shigeru was selected by Tsukasa's mother to be his bride.  She tries to befriend Tsukushi, but can't help but be jealous of her.  She lies and uses terrible means to get what she wants.  

Mama Makino desperately wants Makino to marry a rich man.  That is the main reason she continues to pay the money for Tsukushi to go toe Eitoku Garden.  She really sucks up to Tsukasa, but tells his mother to back off!  

Papa Makino needs Tsukushi to marry a rich man so he can have a bigger allowance.  He keeps losing jobs and delves the family deeper into poverty. When he first meets Doumyoji, he insults him and tells him to leave, but when he finds out who he is, apologises and praises him.

Susumu Makino doesn't appear much in the show.  He is Tsukushi's younger brother in middle school.  All I can really say about him is that he also wants Makino to marry a rich man and I think he likes  playing sports.

Mama Doumyoji is a severe person with a short fuse.  She only wants Tsukasa to marry a women of high status to protect the Doumyoji family name.  She runs a line of hotels and has many people working for her.  As far as she is concerned, Tsukasa is far to important to be friends with the other member of the F4.
