Soon Kenner picked up the adorable concept to produce a line of 12" stuffed Care Bear dolls. Each doll was a different color with an embroidered crest upon it's tummy. Each crest represented a special feeling of each of the original 10 Care Bears: Bedtime, Birthday, Cheer, Friend, Funshine, Goodluck, Grumpy, Love-A-Lot, Tenderheart, and Wish. The dolls were in high demand, all more toys had to be made or various shapes and sizes. With such growing popularity, it wasn't long before they hit TV with their own series.

The Care Bears produced three movies: The Care Bears Movie (1985), The Care Bears Movie 2: A New Generation (1986), and The Care Bears Adventures in Wonderland (1987). Even a sequel television series was made called The Care Bear Family. The television series ran on the Disney Channel through most of the 80's and re-ran on Toon Disney until the fall season of 2002.

Despite lack of a television broadcast, the Care Bears came back with great effort for their 20th anniversary! Brand new Care Bears products hit the shelves from t-shirts to figures to remakes of the original dolls! Which just goes to prove that kindness and caring can outlast the tests of time!
